HX Stomp vs XL - is the XL worth it?

Thanks for this - having both units is the best way to compare them and as the button spacing is identical (along with the processing power) the minor difference would be the cabling and space on a board, the need for a MIDI controller on both makes the stomp the better option. I have the Pod Go and love the form factor but the sounds aren’t up the stomp so I think I’ll go with the stomp on a small board with a drive and a MIDI controller + 2 button switch and a small expression pedal. Again thanks - really good to hear from someone gigging these.

Thankyou! Yeah I still think the original stomp plus a midi controller gives you much more flexibility than the stomp xl

Thank you! You NAILED it for me. As a guitarist there is always a balance between being creatively open to "new" things - while having a great and vicious disdain for having to fiddle about with gear and widgets.
