Hyatt Place Airport West Doral in Miami, FL

Is this hotel far from the MIA cruise port ? We stayed at the Hyatt centric brickell miami post cruise. Everything was great, except the hotel shower. No water pressure at all. There is a "warm" water but no hot water shower and it takes a while for it to get "warm". But the rooftop pool was great ! thank you for the 2 videos.

I believe it was 17 miles away from the port. I booked it about six months beforehand and it was the cheapest option available that had parking because I was looking at that time for a stay and park package. We stayed in Brickell last time we sailed out of Miami and that was really enjoyable but we had flown in that time. This hotel was fine but I certainly would not recommend it for a park and stay as the parking lot was quite small and the spaces themselves were super small. We decided to spend the extra money and just park at the port so we could hit the road right when we got off the ship.

How’s the drive to DT Miami ?

We didn't have any issues. We've also stayed in the past without a vehicle and had no problem getting an early Lyft (we find Lyft to be a better deal in Miami than Uber.) We avoid hotel shuttles if we can.
