Hello, I am planning for this resort. My kids are 9 and 5. Would there be any activities for that age group like water slides etc

Hi @pavan7626 this is a fantastic resort for young families but they do not have water slides. The beach is one of the best I've seen for young families and children. It is protected by two rock reefs so the kids can play in the shallow water with ease. The pools are fantastic and the resort offers a lot of activities for children. They have a Kidz Club for 3 to 12 year olds, they offer the regular non-motorized water sports and a list of daily activities. Activities range from ping pong and corn hole tournaments, bingo, shuffleboard, volleyball and dance lessons to name a few. Hi Alex, great question. Thank for stopping by the channel and taking the time to watch a video and for dropping a question. The answer is; yes and no. You can fill out the customs form in advance which does help but it is not necessary to do in advance.

Is all food on the resort included or do you pay separately?

Hi @mdooms76 this is an all-inclusive resort so all of your food and drinks are included. That said, there are times when you may need to pay a supplemental fee for special items. A good example of a situation when a supplemental fee may be involved is adding lobster to a meal. There are resorts that include this and others that charge the additional fee and these policies are changing all the time. On the beverage side you may pay a supplemental fee if you wish to order a full bottle of wine or champagne versus consuming it by the glass. Does this help?

Is the jerk hut on ziva side or zilara side?

The jerk hut is on the Hyatt Ziva side of the resort but it's not very far from the Hyatt Zilara side. It's probably 5-8 minute walk if you're at the Hyatt Zilara pool area or the beach. @@SunnySouthVacations I’m going to ziva but hopefully I can upgrade to zilara when I get there December 1st. Do you think I can do that upon arrival?

@@DonGiovanni88 I would call your travel advisor or whomever you booked your vacation with to see if you can switch before arrival. It will likely be easier that way but it's possible upon arrival. That said, if you can't switch I wouldn't be too concerned. As an adult (18+) you can use the facilities at Zilara and it's so close you'll feel like you're at Zilara anyways.
