I hope not. I love the storytelling a lot & I already liked it at BTS MV's. Also, the visual appearance of this video here is just beautiful!! Unfortunately I have also to confess, that the song itself, which is really good, kinda get lost completely due to the length of the video & the storytelling, which absolutely shouldn't be like that... I would prefer if Big Hit would include 'Intro videos' or 'Story videos' to the MV's, so that there is still a bond between the story & the song, but that there is also still a small separation. I think that would give the song more room to shine for itself. I really hope Big Hit will not make such long videos for BTS...

@@once_world5081 i believe they got cursed for setting the magic island on fire. i also believe nap of the star happens after this. i'll give my theories to why i believe this. the Train has odd colored lights Green and blue just like the cat in nap of the star so they both indicate the same thing. i believe the odd eyed cat is what curses them( it could be something else as well. i say this because there is a hidden witch in nap of the star mv), where in bangtan universe the odd eyed cat gives jin the power to time travel so we already know its an all powerful creature from the magic island. i say the cat cursed them because if you notice, yeonjun sees the train coming but he isn't scared or anything in this mv he stands still. then it cuts to the scene where each member is holding on to a body part which apparently hurts for them. yeonjun's head, taehyun's eyes , huening kai has a dragonfly that died ( so wings) soobin's ear and beomgyu's shoulder. These are all the parts where they have a mutation in the Nap of the star MV. Also yeonjun is scared straight away in nap of the star when he sees the odd eye color, possibly indicating hes seen it before and is scared of it. hence why i think this happened before nap of the star and that they got cursed. i hope that makes sense.

The train from this mv probably represents reality. One important thing I noticed is that Soobin and Yeonjun (the two oldest) were the only ones who heard the train before it came (while they were playing). My idea is perhaps that the magical island represents a place of escape from reality, but, at some point, reality will come back and "hit" you, just as the train did. Idk if it is coincidence that Soobin and Yeonjun were the only two to hear the train (remember that reality will still hit them at some point) or if it shows that they were old enough to "know better" than to assume that they were safe from reality. The fact that the members died or became unconscious after the train hit them shows what happens when you must face the harshness of reality, while you are still unaware of it. Not that you would die, but that you would be "taken out" or given a rough time. This mv shows the effects of Run Away. Run Away is about running away from reality to find a better place. Magic Island shows that, while this can still be an amazing and beautiful thing, it can still harm you. I think this mv is also a criticism of K-pop today, as many concepts and songs create the idea of K-pop being an "escape from reality"; a place where you can forget the boring and hard things of the world. I believe "Nap of A Star" is a dream. From "Magic Island", all the aspects of this music video was in it. The pain in Beomgyu's arm came from the memory of having spikes stuck in his skin. Yeonjun held his head because he had horns, maybe something from "Crown" and how he thought he had become a monster; which is why he tried to rip them off. Soobin had elf ears, and that might of been why he kept covering his ears while getting their memory back. Now, Taehyun had the star in his eye, and Hueningkai had the wings. In "Nap of the Star", Yeonjun had gone into the forest while the trees looked burned, the setting was pretty dull. So I'm guessing the entire music video was a memory from "Magic Island" because Beomgyu let them play with fire. At the end, it said "Remember my name" in korean text (Magic Island MV). I'm not quite sure what exactly said it, but it could possibly be the dragon. This is probably un-related but the chapter names sound like their songs. Chapter 2: Secret Island sounds like "Magic Island", Chapter 3: Castaway sounds like "Runaway". Then, Chapter 4: The Price of a Promise kind of sounds like "Nap of a Star", and Chapter 5: Eternal Summer sounds like "Our Summer". Speaking of Chapter 5, in "Our Summer", one of the lyrics that Kai sings is, "In it the promise of eternity what to shine" seems to relate to Eternal Summer. This is just what I have come up with by looking at other MOA's comments and lyrics of their songs.
