This is one of the best videos in Kpop history. The video compliments the word Limbo. A state that is in between. The colors, the black and white, the darkness and the redness of the color is exactly what limbo is. So proud of Jun here. This song brings a new side of Jun that we never really got to see. This is impeccable. So glad Jun practiced so hard, went to the gym, did multiple dance practices to bring the video alive. Also, can we appreciate the actor Jun in this❤

And the lyrics compliment it as well! The way I interpreted it, is that Jun is stuck in a limbo (or a state of indecisiveness) about a love interest. This in turn drags the love interest into the same limbo. All Jun wants is to set that person free by making up his mind about the person. Does he want to pursue his love or not? And I assume the love interest is going through the same dilemma.

(Give me chills btw) so maybe he’s asking the love interest to come as well. My thought is also similar because this is a very new, fresh, different and a very matured look meaning very matured version of new Jun. and he’s also mentioned that he’s working hard to do new things so I guess he wants Carats to come into his new world and from there we’ll all (including him) reach a new world or new phase away from the limbo where Jun finds his true self too. This could be the beginning of an era 🔥❣️❣️🤍 but this is just my thoughts What do you think of this?

One things that really sets SEVENTEEN different from other groups is that they are not afraid of experimenting with different concepts. As we know, JUN released ballads before like Crow and Silent Boarding Gate so for him to release a solo like this is not something I would’ve expected especially for a solo release. i personally really love how even just the outfits themselves are telling 25% of the story. The other three parts (ofc aside from the lyrics) are the choreography, the mv's cinematography (like how they made use of black and white then return them to full red the next scene or the camera angles they used which really let's you feel like you're in a limbo and you cant escape, in a sort of distorted world) and ofc jun's overall presence and charisma and how he portrayed the characters. i have got to say this is such a well-made song and music video though they only used a few sets and limited budget.

i think what i love so much about limbo is the amount of self-confidence it exudes. to me, limbo is jun pushing the boundaries that have been drawn around him. this song's is such a large departure from the softer ballads we're used to seeing from him, but the shift feels so intentional. it's his "lemme show you want i can do" moment. i've always respected jun as a performer, but limbo is really him bringing his artistry to new heights and telling us all what he's known all along: that we haven't yet begun to see what this man is capable of!!
