Very informative video and is exactly what I have played with this season with great results. 9 Duraslip set loose for Silvers 13 Duraslip for general Carp 17 Duraslip for snag free Margins 15 Hollo in my Preston Edge Monster for snaggy swims and the bigger Carp This is what I will be sticking with 👍

I think original slip 4,6, 8and hollow 10,12,14 my main go to 90% time.

For me , 13 Hollo is the best carp elastic I’ve used , the black MAP twin core runs it close as well.

Recently gone back to using solids....slip no6 and no8 . Is there anything better . Cheap and lasts ages . Will still use a hybrid for f1s and down the edge though

Informative. I always worry the fish has too much run when the elastic stretches out, then I sometimes panic and make a mess of getting the fish under control

I’ve had 2 duraslip 15 break on me at the Dacron so back to N G for me. Never let me down.

That could well be down to the way you are attaching the elastic to the dacron?

Duraslip needs to be 1 metre longer length on the winder so you can do 2 top kits and not 1 and 1/2 especially for the price that you charge. Apart from the rip off price it's good. So come on Preston let's get it sorted

Why don't Preston do a 5 metre elastic pack like the Middy range so you can do two standard top kits. This works with the standard 3 metre pack when elasticating short F1s. Thiswould be more cost effective for the customer and cut down on waste what do others use the 600 CMS or so for?

Why don't they do elastic in 2 meters or 4 meters you just waste a meter and they could put the price down
