Re: the tailgating goal, same thing happened in Stage 1. You finished 2nd behind Zoe, but the game still gave you 1st place.🤷🏻‍♂️

I am pretty sure the reason they award you first place now after finishing a race in an event is to make sure you get the crew bonuses. Normally when you hired the engineer on a stage where finishing 1st wasn't even physically possible, your car would lose service status if you finished the stage. Now that is resolved. Not sure whether this undoes the bot slowing/management too.

Maybe it might be possible to let Ahmed lap you and tailgate him then. I guess you will still get first place but you can slow down the race without having to block him or smash him offtrack.

9:25 Speaking of recommended PR dynamics, I know that putting upgrades on immediately allows you to have more time at or above recommended PR, allowing you to slow bots down and making it a lot easier. I really got to get the full view of this when I did the Brabham flashback extremely easily as I had it FU beforehand. Given the SF90 Stradale has 12 R$ upgrades, it might be a strategy for people to throw the R$ upgrades first and get a lot more time being able to do bot slowing (that's what I'm doing and I'll release a hardest stages video if we find some in Stages 5-7).

I brought upgrades for grip and brakes…I didn’t like how it handles…but after 3 R$ upgrades it feels wayyyyy better

Race 3.4 GLITCH. I’m getting multiple reports that race 3.4 will not allow people to pass, no matter what they do. Here’s what you should do. 1. Comment on whether you are on Android or iOS. I’ve already notified the developers about the problem but more information helps. 2. Take a screenshot of how much gold it costs to skip. Then skip the stage and file a ticket explaining the situation and including the screenshot. When this is happened in the past people get their gold back. 3. Don’t wait for them to fix it because it could take a few days and then you’ll miss out on the car. 4. If you don’t know how to file a ticket here’s a short video that walks you through it. Android user here, same issue, initially. I guess they fixed it last night: After I had also run into these problems I switched to multitasking view, tapped on the rr3 app icon in order to open up the app info screen. A force quit, followed by _storage_ > _delete cache memory_ and restarting the app prompted me with the start screen. From there, I tapped the _bottom left cogwheel_ and again the _cogwheel icon_ next to it. In the general settings screen, I tapped on _"download all…"_ and noticed quite a delay which seems unusual if there was nothing to receive. FM/EA won't disclose file size, neither a progress bar. Nevertheless, with the very next try I managed to have a nice "Sunday drive" without touching a single curb until I caught up to Ahmed in lap 3, just before the second hairpin. I took my time to figure out where he would slow down and smoothly passed him in the penultimate turn, triggering an instant "accomplished" green banner and the end of that race. The issue had gotten me so stoked that I didn't even realize whether or not there was a free skip possible due to the silent update, lol. Keep racing fun, end never finish second last! 🏆🏁 Best, _never7th_

On set the fastest lap events I believe you only have to do it once. I have led by around 3 seconds and then waited for the field to pass me on the final lap so I don't have to finish first. I could be wrong tho but it has worked in the past.

It think that worked in the past but not anymore. I was in something like 17th Pl. when I set my fastest lap. As soon as I cross the line it change the distances I was away from other drivers and the 17 disappeared. I did try letting the whole field pass me once in the past and it still puts you in first place because it’s like a pole lap rather than a race.

Well now i have a problem. Goal 4/4, the trigger for completion is not happening. No matter how clean i am, even if i dont let a tire even TOUCH anything but road, i pass Ahmed, nothing happens, i finish 3 laps anyway just to see, nothing happens. Even though there is zero damage and zero off track. Whaaaat do i do. I already re-started a few times, even spun him out and chuckled when he hit the wall at a horrible angle. Still just wanna finish this goal. Don't wanna open a ticket -_-;

@@broker992 I have successfully completed this quote unquote successfully, at least seven times and it just is not triggering no matter where I pass him how I pass him it doesn't seem to care. If the car was cheaper as its own entity I wouldn't really care and just press the skip button but the price of the upgrades is pretty insane with F1 right around the corner, no pun intended

@@FayeHunter unfortunately all you can do is pay gold to skip and then submit a ticket. If you submit a ticket and wait it could take them days and the event might be gone by then. I would encourage you to do it as soon as possible so that they start to see several people submitting the same ticket. Take a picture of the screen that shows how much gold it costs to skip the stage. Whenever this is happen in the past they refund people the goal they had to spend to skip. Is there anyone else, who can't win 3.4 as I do? Well, I can't. Although I'm driving extreme carefully, i.e. no touching any kerbs at all - certainly no running over them - nowhere, no skidding (although it is not demanded), overtaking Ahmed in a straight part of the track with enough side-distance - I cannot win! I don't know why. And I'm frustrated and irritated to be urged to invest 25 goldpieces just for going on. Any idea?

I had the 3.4 glitch on Android, but I am not sure what fixed it, because I have completed it already. It was either restarting the device (more likely), or changing the controls from Wheel B (F) to Wheel (F).

I had an issue with Stage 3 Goal 4. I beat P1 comfortably and yet the error message kept popping up saying I failed the challenge. I did this thrice and then i noticed the Skip 25G had magically turned into "skip for free".

Yeah there’s some kind of weird glitch in there that is affecting some people. You certainly weren’t doing anything wrong. Hopefully they can fix it someday, glad they gave the free skip out pretty quick.

Go back to the entry screen for that race and you should see a free skip. That stage has been glitchy for a lot of people so they handed out that free skip a while ago. If you don’t see a free skip then do a cloud safe, force close the game and then reopen it.

Seems to be a bug. Some Android user report this. Try overtaking him in last round, last corner.

Other times they fix the bug by letting the race pass for free, if I see that they haven't fixed it before moving on to the next day, I'll spend the 25 gold, normally they also usually refund them hours or days later, if not, it's time to open a ticket

You only brake when you stop using gas

It’s a technique called preloading. Whichever one you were pressing first will override. So heading into a corner I’ve got the gas on. Then I also press the brakes on but because I had gas first that keeps going. The one the moment I remove my thumb from the gas, the brakes will engage.This is faster than releasing the gas and then applying the brakes. It gives me the benefits of tilt A but the extra control of skidding that tilt B provides by allowing me to coast when I want to.

@@ME7_RR3 I've noticed that the game provides even more functionality with this technique, depending on cars and/or circuits. There are GT-R versions that would never manage to corner specific Mount Panorama sections without at least squealing. Literally by accident, I found out that this double tap provides some kind of anti-slip control there. On the other hand, I recognize some rev limiting with the Ferrari F50 (nearly FU except motor) on Mulsanne in LeMans if I double tap too early before brake points. This could be one and the same feature tho, since the Brathurst circuit won't allow for full top speed where I apply the technique, and the straight downhill passage won't neither. No assists were engaged while navigating this comment. Best, _never7th_

I don’t think anyone knows that yet. In the past people would figure it out based on the cost and PR value of each individual upgrade but we don’t have that currently and they don’t share it ahead of time. Supposedly it costs M$ 3,866,288 & 918 gold to fully upgrade that’s all I know for sure.

I’m on iPhone and my steering is still good. That’s a good time to reinstall the game as it might clear that glitch out for you. Things like this can happen after an update because it’s the merging of old files with new files. Sometimes it just doesn’t work.
