I bought a used 372xp off FB market place and can’t believe how well it cuts. Just a new Husky 24” bar and chain. Saves my back from bending over, and cuts like hot knife through butter. Amazing saw.

Hey Buckin Billy, my grandpa was the one to put me on to you. I have since become a subscriber. I just want to say that your story about alcohol has inspired me to become an arborist I’m 29 years old and knowing that you didn’t start until you were 27/28 makes me feel like I still have a shot at this life. I used to be a hard-core addict to crack, fentanyl and alcohol. I’m talking homelessness for two years with only my grandpa to support me and he stayed by my side the entire time while I was in and out of detox and shelters. We were on the phone the other night talking about you and it’s made us even closer. He owns a cabin up at Bonaparte lake in the Cariboo interior. My favourite place on this earth. You’re my number one role model right now excluding my dad and grandpa. I just want to say thank you for the inspiration and the positive messages. You are truly changing lives. Mine specifically. I’m looking at old McCulloch saws right now debating on buying my first gas POWERsaw. And will 100% be installing at least a 36 inch bar so I can buck standing up. Thank you for all these videos and thank you for being such a freaking cool dude. Seriously life-changing. Thank you, sincerely. Jase G. Love from Kamloops, BC.

Here we are in the woods on Vancouver Island, getting the saw ready, felling a tree, and I pretty much see what you are thinking, what you are doing, and why 🌳🌲🪓🪵 That is so cool 😎. Before I came here, my world definitely was smaller. Thank you for letting us come along on this journey 😊 I'm really looking forward to the project in Nova Scotia. It's wonderful that the channel is able to help out. There are so many good people here supporting this. I love you all ❤😊

Hey Billy, love the channel, thank you for all you share. I was curious why you pull up just a bit on the pull start before shutting off the saw. I know there’s a reason behind everything! Stay well friends. 2 months into my power saw journey in residential trees in NC, US.
@lanceevans6887 ай бұрын
Saves wear on the starter components. The motor will turn back a bit as it shuts off and it pulls against the starter pawls when it does. If you pull the rope out some, your hand absorbs the tug.

Hey Billy this may sound dumb but I notice you and Tinman and some others pull your starter cord a bit just as you shut your saws down what’s the reason behind that?
@jethroboorer28607 ай бұрын
Hey mate. As the flywheel slows the pawls swing in and catch the starter. It yanks the cord in ya hand like a shock absorber instead of making the rope and handle hurt. That clunk you hear every time you stop your saw. Try it :) you'll see
