I have HR shifter cables, mtec race shifter springs and spring factory detent springs on my 8th gen it made my shift stiffer not to the point of building muscle but it feels good.

@@22aber51 yea just gotta lift the car up remove upper driver side mount DO NOT USE A IMPACT DRILL the bolts are hollow inside and they are easy to break install the springs torque to 16ftlbs and done check everything.

Agreed! The selector Springs paired with the detent springs turns the shifter into a RWD feeling. It feels almost as if the transmission is right below me.

I just did a new Acura shifter box, hybrid racing spherical cable bushings, delrin bushings, and shifter box bushings for the RSX. Feels super nice, now. Trying to decide on these detent springs now.

I finally got around to installing mine after 6months😅 Appreciate you sharing the video. I thought it was snake oil but there is a real difference. Going in and out of each gear is more knotchy. You know it's in and out of gear.

You can do what they call the poor mans type R using the Ls B18 block and dropping a B16 vtech head on it

Pyro 11372 Not much just switching from a none vtech to a vtech head you have to get a vtech ECU , have to supply oil to the vtech system and wire the vtech system and some little things here and there but other than that you can definitely do it 👍💪
