hey man!!! So today when I was driving it (off-camera) after break-in. I noticed that the air filter clasp mechanism can slide a little and obstruct the brake mechanism linkage. Remember when you said you had a brake issue, I'm 100% sure your air filter plastic piece was in the way of the throttle linkage and it wasn't fully engaging the brakes. What do you think?

@@hybrid32494 no actually in the beginning the break was perfect and what i did i wash the car with gasoline and oil mixture and that makes the break pad oily and greasy and that was the reason but in early runs it was perfect

what's up man!! YUP, back to the future is one of my fav movies of all time, you just can't beat the iconic styling of the DELOREAN. I've seen the Rivian stuff, don't want it though. It's electric, I can only imagine how many LIPO cells it will need and how expensive the ESC and other electronics will be in there. That's one thing that's good about GAS rcs, the engines are fairly cheap to replace and really no other major weak parts. In an electric you got expensive batteries, speed controllers, etc. I think electrics should be 1/8 scale or smaller, after that it just gets to be too risky.

hey buddy, thanks for watching. Ive still got this baja, it topped out at around 38 MPH, which is really fast for a stock one of these. Anyway, these are always 2WD, because they are essentially HPI baja clones, you know. ANY good 4WD like a losi 5T would cost around triple this model.

hey buddy! You could use the same 2-stroke oil you use for your fuel mixture. I've been doing that, and it's fine. Probably the easiest method and it's very effective.

hey buddy! I gotta tell you they are very similar. I have both. Both have not let me down at all. I would say the pipe on this particular one is significantly better because it's hidden though the bumper area, while the other model's pipe is fully exposed. One flip and it will be all scratched and could get heavily damaged. That's something to be aware of.

I have a xxxnt and its compression was getting pretty low so I repinched the piston sleeve and I got through 2 tanks of the break in but now I can't get it to start. So if you have any tips I'd be happy to try.

hey man, I've heard man stories about getting the sleeve pinched, some good, some bad. I really recommend you remove the cooling head and examine the inside, then oil it and see it there is way too much tension or friction of any type. let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary there.

I checked and there is nothing out of the ordinary. one thing I did notice after putting it back on and trying to start it is that some fuel was leaking out from under the glow plug but then when I took it of and put it back on it stopped. so if you think that might have something to do with it....

hey buddy! Yes, parts are extremely easy for any BAJA style chassis, including this ROVAN. There are tons of parts and any king motors, HPI or Rovan parts are a direct fit. I still own this one and it has not let me down, and I have not broken anything.

You can't go wrong here, almost nobody pays HPI prices anymore for a BAJA that comes without a pipe, LOL.

congrats!! this is a terrific bargain for this model even from the China warehouse, it's still much cheaper than any HPI baja. I have some Polish ancestry too btw. This is a great first 1/5 scale to learn on and parts are super easy to get anywhere, because the Baja chassis is so common, I started with a Rovan Baja too. Let me know when you get it, be sure to check the plug and oil the cylinder before you pull the starter. You never now how well any RC was assembled, you know.

you're guaranteed to have a good Time with this, this is like the most common 1/5 gas rc platform you can get. They sell countless upgrades for this, stuff I cannot even remember right now. Im quite sure they already make real metal cages for these that resemble the Kraken and other styles of RC. The best thing about the Baja platform is that you don't ever need to remove the body to start or run it, unlike every other RC which required alot of body clips each time.

The Bolt is a 100% all-electric car, the VOLT was a 100% POS! ahaha. If you notice there are almost no VOLT's left on the streets, thats because their hybrid Range Extender Turbocharged engine and entire car was pure GARBAGE in terms of reliability and fuel economy. IN fact if you look stats on the VOLT you will see that while the Generator is charging the pack (almost all the time) it gets a basic 34 MPG at best. MY old prius can average close to 60 MPG at all times. LOL..

I've been to the primal DRAG events (as a spectator, there's a video of it here) anyway, you could easily run a baja and do fine. The baja has it's own classes at those events so you should be fine. IN fact plenty of people run even stock Bajas.

@@beukeboom3879 Sounds like you're referring to the SHORT Q Baja (I have a video of it on my channel too). Let me just tell you, I don't recommend it for you, compared to a regular baja. The short is mostly for wheelies, the short wheelbase is built mostly for that. It's also pricey, has a smaller motor and much less parts compatibility. Some people fall in love with the looks, but I go more for function, and I don't particularly like it myself. Look for a 30CC baja or the 29CC model like this one. Those engines have good RPM and are well equipped. Personally I dont mind long shipping times, just work on other projects you have in the meantime, you know.

Whats up my dude!! The biggest challenge with pullups and hanging the baja off yourself is getting it to balance and it hurts like a bitc* lol. In other vids ive done bench pressed with 2 bajas and a 45 plate per side, also tough to balance.

Just based on the efficiency of the electric motors alone, how can it be a few bucks? A model 3 Tesla gets 3.5 miles per KW of energy (this costs about 35 cents per KW in NYC). Do you see my point? Some states electricity is cheaper, I agree.

YEP!!!! I'd say after 1/8 scale the electrics just take too many cells to be fast, it's cost prohibitive at a certain size. The gas engines are well suited for these larger cars, overall.
