Seeing all the familiar locations around East Aurora and Colden was my main reason for watching, but then I happened to find a really well-written and well-acted movie that I wasn't expecting. I hope this becomes available for purchase or for streaming, because ION chopped it up with more commercials than I think I have ever seen for one movie.

The movie was filmed around East Aurora, NY and the diner is in Colden ,NY on route 240- the train was the Attica-Arcade railroad in Arcade, NY- and the cupcake shop has recently closed- and don't forget Vidlers still in business since 1930

Great movie. I love how it was not rushed. I love how their fondness for each other gradually built to love. Nice to see something different for a change. For those who keep saying that the prince should be hotter than the ex have such a stereotypical view of what an ex and lover should "look like". I personally think the prince was charming while the ex was full of himself and a jerk. It's all about personality, people!

I'm with you. The prince was such a kind-hearted soul and in the end, he was the most handsome, the most sincere, and his delightful personality was brighter than any old "good-looking" fool. Plus, that accent!! And he has the most understanding parents... I found the prince to be quite dashing and sincere.

I agree with both of you. The prince put her welfare above his own, not so with the used car salesman. I also thought the prince was someone special. The ex fits into the category of "a dime a dozen", too many like him in real life. Plus the scenery, the snow, the train and its station were added bonuses. It's now on my "must watch" Christmas movie list every year. FYI, the ION Plus channel is airing it again this season (2019). Check the schedule for air times.

This one was awful! Zero chemistry between the leads. Emma is the most unlikable classless wretch in the film EVERYONE deserved better than her. I think David aka Duncan should've ended up with Alice the sister. They had WAY MORE chemistry together in their few scenes compared to the boring mismatched Emma/Duncan pairing. Ugh skip this one guys, Crown for Christmas and Princess for Christmas are TEN TIMES BETTER than this shit.
