Includes the Magical Ice Kingdom, which has adopted the classic Dickensian 'A Christmas Carol' as its theme, the brand new 'City Star' Ferris wheel with POVs, (billed as the world's tallest transportable wheel and making its debut here), the Bavarian Village, themed areas, some time-lapse night video, the rides, and of course, the gang!

This looks absolutely amazing!🥰 I’ve never been to winter wonderland...I’ve only ever been to local winter warmers but this is a far cry from the ones I’ve been to. I was planning to take some friends and family here this year but sadly, it’s been cancelled☹️ there’s always next year though, so fingers crossed we can go for 2021!

Random, but anyone know the chest restriction for the Olympia looping ride?

I think as per most places, we're unsure of the actual dimensions, its just a case of trying... However, Olympia's restraints are unusual - not your usual over-the-shoulder harness, its basically a lap bar, and separate shoulder pads, which adjust vertically, in theory allowing more chest room than the usual harness. :-)

Great filming, love the time lapse shots, how long do you set the duration (2 seconds / 5 seconds?) & how long do you then film for? I would love to be able to replicate!

Thanks Michael. Gopro Hero 7 Black / night-photo mode / 2 second intervals, auto exposure. I find the Gopro limited, you can't go shorter than 2 seconds, for which you're also going to need a filter. I bought some cheap ones, which did the trick. During this vid, look at the shot after the big wheel long exposure - thats what happens without a filter! Those 2 second shots, took around 20mins each to film.

Its £9 for the big coaster or the VR ride, £8 for the drop tower, £7 for the 2 other large coasters, most other rides are £3 - £6 (ish..!).

@@davidjellis Thanks, the timelapse takes AGES, and this isn't summer..! I tried it at Hull, but discovered I needed filters, so this was attempt no2. Which is better, but still some parts were over -exposed. Wasn't happy with the conversion either using Gopro Studio, its gone a bit 'blocky', again, still experimenting!

For all those peeps who say it's expensive. Yes it is. But let me tell you why. I was talking to a stall owner and he was saying how the ground rent for his market stall alone was more than the average price for a house in the UK to buy out rite not rent. And that's just for the market stalls. Now for the rides and especially the olympia looping rollercoaster and most of the other rides. They not only have to pay ground rent to cover damages to the grass and the ground but transport costs. Fuel costs for the generator. Staff wages and insurance. Olympia looping takes up a huge footprint and does a lot of damage to the ground that is covered by the ground rent. But it is also transported in 54 seperate trucks and trailers not to mention the motor homes for the staff. Now imagine the cost of taking all of the from its main home in Vienna Austria and shipping that across on the ferry. As the trucks are two large to use the euro tunnel. They have to hire out a whole ferry for themselves. Now imagine how much that would cost.

For me and hubby and 3 babies all under 5. Its about 170 for 1 circus they choose the time. a few rides as they gove u a limit as all rides are paid for. and a walk through 1 other attraction. Absolute piss take expensive.
