Agree with you there, that's why I only tend to go during the day. Just after it opens around midday, it is much more manageable. The place isn't packed, and the rides tend to run for longer periods with little queues so you get your moneys worth!

just went there half a day ago and i am sorry to say there is nothing to remember me about 3 year ago when was an amazing wonderland with specific german sausages which btw ,are tasting amazing ,i found no traces of germans this time ,i wanted to buy some specific Christmas accesories but could't find nothing ,there was few german names Alpen Hotel ,but i repeat nothing from Germany , there was Santa Grotto ,instead of Santa Klaus ,wake up London ,that suppose to be Christmas Market i read someone says is too far to reach London to visit this muddy market ,no worry u don't loose nothing ,i am betting u can find english sausages somewhere close to u place with caramelised onions. THUMB DOWN FOR HYDE PARK THAT WAS LAST TIME WHEN I ATTENDED THERE < I PREFER NEXT TIME TO FLY IN GERMANY FOR A REAL CHRISTMAS WUNDERLAND

Can't decide what name is more fitting, "Winter Headache" or "Winter Nightmare". Let's just say if you're after a genuine feeling, traditional christmas experience for the family this is not the right place for you. I'd compare it more to a visit to Butlins with a bit of cheesy European xmas techno remixes thrown in for good measure. Or a tacky christmas themed local funfair.

Avoid Wonderland unless you want to be ripped off with expensive tacky dressings of Christmas lacking Christmas magic. Its really just a dressed up funfair. Check out the best reviewed Santa and Father Christmas Grottos in London, and for Festival stalls try the South Bank.
