I always wanted to know where this was because this palace and garden was mentioned in many books. Also just confirming Tipu Sultan's palace inside the fort was known as Lal Mahal right

Yes both palaces were named Lal Mahal and this was located in lalbagh area of Srirangapatna that's why also called lal bagh palace

Ruins show only bricks. No stone. Generally stone fortifies wall. Plasting materials?? Triveni Sangam covers Kaveri and....luckily no encroachment. Last 2 visits I missed this one.

I don't think they used any pillar so roof would have been made of wood,I have heard of a church in conoor which has wood from this palace

Yes I have been to that church in conoor it has Teakwood pillars and roof beams and some railings from these palaces, They are similar to dariya daulat pillars but not that elaborate, Actually I'm planning to visit visit conoor church once more to make a video on it Come with me brother

@@TheTigerofMysore One interesting thing is without using iron pillars or concrete how they built,if wood was used for roofing how did they rain proof it,also I have heard that real tigers were kept chained like dogs in tippu Dari a dulath

Actually tigers were found by British soldiers in Lal Mahal palace of sultan not dariya daulat, And there are mentions about those tigers when Harris asked nizams minister to take them, when he refused Those tigers were shot dead. And also about the camels belonging to Syed saab were first captured by British but later they were given to syeds sons
