One mistake that you guys have done was not taking Anantpur-Chitradurga route, believe me that is such a beautiful highway with absolutely very less traffic. From chitradurg, Hirayur route is common

Hi Srikanth, any idea how is this route now? Heard on some blogs that there is a rough patch and traffic is diverted via some villages in around Kalyandurg area. Any info will be helpful. TIA.

@@Zulfywhosane to be very honest not sure of the present condition but google maps can tell you how much of diversion and then you can take an informed decision. Last year around 5% of road was still under construction but guessing by now it would have been completed and may be they are referring to those rough patches but I will still take that route as those diversions are well marked and very minimal but this route will save a lot of time

Thanks for noticing sir. That's what we were also wondering. We were calling out places and roads based on google maps given we were going on that route for the first time. I think google did some time optimisation for us.
