Definitely a waste doing both, life drain you don’t want your hydra to cost you that extra health cost. Plus if you stack enough MH you can heal from Hydra anyway with pain and sac. Not to mention you can replace it with a better spell like flame walk/shield etc

Torture Mastery scaling is so good now that I don't think its worth taking Hydra/Life-drain with it; as Korza said, if you stack enough MH it is possible to heal from Hydra now (however, it does cost 40 HEALTH to cast all 3 spells). You definitely could run both of them together but I feel like you're giving up some good spell slots to take all of those spells to make it work. When I run TM I typically take Cop, Pos, Bolt, Hellfire and Flamewalker and make sure to bring in loads of grey health pots and some higher quality bandages. I think TM is best for Solos, Hydrain is best for Trios and for Duos you can run either.

Magical healing doesn’t affect life drain since it’s he amount of damage that heals you

You want to be looking for Knowledge, Add/True Magical Damage and any bits of Will/Magical Power you can fit into your build. The healing you receive from Life-drain is based on the damage you deal, so more damage = more healing! As Dylan said, Life-drain isn't affected by Magical Healing at all. Thanks for watching 😁

What armor do you go with for your Squire setup? Is magical healing like Occultist Hood/Mystic Gloves worth it or not really?

Magical healing doesn't affect the healing from life drain. Knowledge will make the tick rate faster so your life drain will have faster healing. So don't get mh but do get as much knowledge as possible in squire. Also just fyi vampirism does work since it increases your magical healing from all sources. Hope this helps :)

Hey my man! My Squire setup typically looks like this: Armour: Shadow Mask; Rawhide Gloves; Oracle Robe (or Mystic Vestments); Leather Chausses; Lightfoot boots and Spellbook/Longsword. Perks: Vampirism; Malice; Dark Reflection; Antimagic. Spells: Curse of Pain; Hydra; Life-drain; Flamewalker; Hydra. As Hayden pointed out, magical healing *does not* increase your healing from Life-drain but Vampirism does (pretty essential perk). Just stack as much damage and knowledge as possible 😁 Thanks for watching!

Unfortunately not. If anything, extra knowledge is actually worse for meme beam as it decreases the duration of the beam without increasing tick rate 😔 it would be so much better if it did!
