He backpeddles because when evasion is up, it's easier to backpeddle than to strafe, as hitting from side/back still hits. Pikaboo explains why you should backpeddle with evasion up.

uhm, the russian guy, what are u talking about? His pre-vial was at a point where they had no damage incoming, he was already at 100% and the poly on hydra was running out, it did nothing to the game neither overall nor at that specific burst attempt. Cloak in between cheapshots? He just cloaked when cheapshot ended, it was nothing but a mistake on the RM team for not using another stun. If anything, using cloak there was a missplay, as u would still die through the followup stun, so using vanish there would have been the better choice. Pshero is playing this like a warrior, just randomly targeting whatever is close. He didnt go for restealths when they were obvious and would lead to an easy win, so no, Pshero didnt do jackshit this game at all. The only "big" thing he did, was the pre-vial, which wouldnt even have mattered as the RM didnt have incoming burst at all during that point (look at how he takes 10% dmg, and then hydras poly ends, so even without pre vial he would still be sitting at 85%+++ hp lol. RM should be a freewin anyways, but yea, this isnt exactly one of the games where Pshero is carrying his own weight

Yea you're right, cloaking when u have a rogue on you at 10% hp is more effective than vanishing, and pre-vialing a burst attempt that made you drop 10% hp when u had 100% and everything is dr'd, is world class plays and mechanics right there. The ~30% heal over 6 sec when he took 10% dmg with ccs running out surely saved him there too (you're probably stupid enough to think they had the artifact ability making him take reduced dmg by this point too, so im just mentioning it so you dont come with your bullshit arrogance despite the fact you dont know shit about this game). Actually, saying you're "obviously right" is pretty cringe when you literally have no clue what the hell you're talking about at all. Once you actually do play some arena yourself, you might discover that Pshero isnt as great of a rogue as you think he is. Until then, learn that claiming something which is untrue ("saved him twice and made the game"(lol)) and dismissing any counterclaim as wrong because "you are obviously right. Period" isnt actually a valid form of an argument, nor does it mean you actually have any clue about what the hell is going on, as you revealed by your first comment that showed nothing but bias for Pshero. You should probably rewatch the clip so you can see how little his 'plays' that "saved him twice" actually mattered. And try to spot the times when he could have already won the game simply by restealthing (4:05). Pressing cloak after a stun (when vanish would have been better..) is pretty much what any 1600 rogue would do vs a rogue mage when they are low on hp in the opener. Its not even him doing well, its the RM fucking up by not getting the stun off before he is able to cast. You're obviously wrong, and should probably stay silent.

2700 Rogue here pshero is probably the weakest player of the 4 but he’s still good. Not gonna bother finding the time stamp but there’s 2 times this arena where I can see some armchair duelist wondering why he didn’t go for an “obvious” restealth - both times he wasn’t sure hydra could keep los with Whaazz to prevent restealth so pshero played it safe by deadly throwing the rogue, sacrificing his potential stealth opener

I don't understand this game anymore. Being WotLK and AT multigladiator, this just seems so dull. Like, at one point his priest is cc'd for ages out in the open and a mage and rogue is nuking the shit out of him. He does not even line of sight the mage (because apparently, that doesn't matter?) and he is not punished for it (which is why he doesn't do it I guess). From the videos I have watched from retail arena, it just looks like one big counterintuitive game of cooldown tradeoffs. So, so sad. I really LOVED this game, around wotlk - even Cata and MoP was more playable than this shit.
