This is a very timely video, Mary! I tried a sample of this recently and really liked it, so I think I'll be buying the full size. I also love the L'Oreal one that you have but this might be the new favourite. It's thicker in consistency and takes a little longer to sink in. Most pharmacies have a limited range of colours, the lightest is 2.0 which is just about right for me. They do have a store in Grafton Street, (which I must visit) which I presume has all the shades. Their online store is great too but for foundation, I need to try it on. I absolutely LOVE this brand. Thanks for sharing and I like the "bangs" on you 🙂x

btw thanks for the Becca tip - I got the Pixie one and it worked ok but I hated the thick consistency, so just didn't bother. It's hard to ge the Becca one in Ireland but I might try. Some days that's all I need to use.

I too have only recently discovered this foundation and as an older, way older woman I want coverage, but lightness also, and this fits the bill to a T, I LOVE IT. By the way, do you have an Irish influence? I ask because of the way you pronounce your 'T's' , they sound very Irish. Only just discovered your channel and you may have spoken about that in the 'about' section, but I get excited and just decided to ask in person

MARY- there’s something i feel like i should recommend to you, its the weleda body butter. Its thick occlusive and whipped texture, i would love to hear you compare it to the palmers cocoa butter!

Personally, I think the Second Skin Dewy Foundation is better for wedding. It has a bit more coverage and seems to stay in place better. This is more for every day wear, in my opinion. Let me know what you think!

I use it light to medium (I think) because it was the only colour they had when I bought it. I see the range has grown. I will never ever be without that product.

I'm heading to Ireland in mid-Sept. I'll have to check out the Aimee line! The skin tint is a perfect color match and looks fabulous on you. FYI - The link you provided isn't working. BTW, you turned me onto Allies when they were having a buy one/get one, and I love their eye serum and Peptide Daily Treatment. I'm saving the latter for traveling.

Does this have denatured alcohol as an ingredient? Not a fan of the L’Oréal because of that and find it drying. I have started using the maybelline bb cream and love it…gorgeous on my 64 year old skin! By the way love your fringe and glowy pink cheeks! You look like a teenager💕

Yes my daughter introduced me to the Aimee second skin and I was impressed. I also love Lancôme teint idole which would have more coverage. If you don’t mind me saying I think the background is a bit distracting. A lot going on 😊
