How did the pumps hold up long term? I've been through so many fountains because the pumps die so fast. Thinking of spending the extra money to get the Avalon if it means a longer lasting pump.

So far, the pump is going strong, but we’re ensuring it never runs dry. Pumps on both fountains are still very good and working perfectly.
