Great video. We have similar work in our shop, the largest lathe we have is a Geminis with Siemens controls. I do the programming for this machine as well as two Okuma CNC lathes using CAM. I am learning from your channel. The steady rest was already set to the right height in a previous operation? Thanks and cheers from Holland. Oh yes, please wear earplugs. Hearing damage is permanent and the kid is still very young. Noises in a machine shop are especially damaging because of the high frequencies and volume.

Yes, the fixed mount was adjusted to the correct height in the previous video. Thank you very much for your good wishes. I wish you good luck in your life. I send my greetings to the Netherlands. 👍

I like how the 700 ton press flange is fatter and thicker than a 1200 ton flange something what is a guy to pay a little bit more money and I don't know about that steady rest the top piece cap I would want that f****** thing is solid as can be f****** 20 tons swinging above your head
@hydraulicpower812 күн бұрын
The reason why the flange is thick is in line with our customer's requests. Also the ropes we use are very strong 👍
