Great Videos. Just curious. What does the top section of the 4/3 DC valve do. (The one that creates a pathway to each of the left and right spool. It does not appear to be receiving any water)

How could this system be adapted for steam power? I was wondering if a hydraulic cylinder could be converted to a steam engine with proper seals.

I don't know if I'm being dull but, how is the multi cylinder use case at the end different from the single cylinder use case? Surely you always want the ability to drain to the tank when the cylinder is not being moved
