Is it easy to open and close the Sip Lid with one hand? Like when you're driving and have it in a cupholder. All the clips I've seen seem to take some effort to twist with two hands

Yeah, it's a reasonably snug fit, so you'll need both hands to open it.

You actually can open it with one hand, I tested it. You just need to put pressure on the lid in the cupholder and you will be able to open it.

you mean like putting in a regular straw on the hole of the sip lid? That won't work. There's a wide mouth straw lid though you might want to check that

no this lid is a closed cap. but they have lids specifically for using with straws too

The sip lid was designed to handle hot beverages like coffee so no problem there. I use it for that purpose too

Yup! All wide mouth lids can be used on any wide mouth bottle as they have the same thread

I think this lid fits any wide mouth bottle. The 24oz is standard mouth so no it will not fit

The sip lid is a complete failure of design and functionality. 3 part lid which is not intuitive, frustrating to take apart and totally unnecessarily complicated. I want my money back.

I agree with the frustrating 3 part lid. I had to see this video to figure it out. I could assemble it, but it would lock the cap from turning, for some reason. now it's free. Don't know why it kept locking. Have no clue why it needs the last section. Guess it must be some kinda "super-seal". Now I'll have-ta do a drip test, to see if it really works. Thanks for the review.

I agree with 50sorrowc!!!! The lid design is absolute FAIL! It is not intuitive, it is very complicated - I gave it to my friend (an ENGINEER!) and after trying for ten minutes to figure it out, he couldn’t do it. He was gettting so frustrated, I had to take it back and look up an instruction video. It comes with an instruction pamphlet, but should you really have to look at that EVERY TIME you go to clean it?? This is seriously the most frustrating product design I have ever come across in my life. The hydro flask works great at keeping beverages cold and hot, but this lid design makes it NOT WORTH IT, IMO! FAIL.
