Usual people: Inflating beach accessories. Some guy on the internet: Inflating steel objects. 🧐

Genial..pero que tipo de material es y que espesor aplica para esa ejecución

Very impressive, particularly after the problems you had with some of your other sphere attempts. Were the dimensions used to develop the initial truncated cones particularly critical?
@ConnorHolland2 ай бұрын
I just estimated the cones to create wide bowls rather than hemispheres, spheres typically have a octagonal cross section before inflating: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHXZiHd5oseDrtU

Conner, I have a few basic questions. Do you think you could form metal 2mm with say a 4000 psi pressure washer?
@ConnorHolland7 ай бұрын
Yes you should have no problem, mine is only 1305 psi. The bigger the workpiece the easier it gets too

I might try this since grease guns tend to be cheaper for making domes at a scale. I'm making mine more buxom shaped for armour hatches/helmet.

Your videos have inspired me to try some hydroforming. My first two attempts have been "doughnut" type forms. They are expanding well but im getting some rather large kinks along the outer edge. Any tips on preventing this form happening?
@ConnorHolland4 ай бұрын
Good to hear, my next video I'm currently working on will be about hydroforming circles, and trying different ways to control the edges

I look forward to it! I love seeing your projects. It's really amazing how great a shpere that first ufo shape makes.

Greetings friend, what kind of material do you use and what caliber? thanks😊
@ConnorHolland6 ай бұрын
For these I used 0.9mm thick stainless steel 304, and usually use 1mm mild steel for unpolished work
