Hello, sir I have an assignment that needs to enter annual daily max rainfall data from 1998-2019 in time series data (manual entry). And it suggests to use 30 min time interval. So how do I do this? Can you pls explain?

Good morning sir. I have been going through your tutorial and i am grateful for that. I have one queny though. After creating project, creating terrain and basin, the terrain file (.tif) is not visible in the basin model interface which was supposed to show, and where i proceed with the analysis and further undertakings. please help. thanks

Thank you for your appreciation. Regarding the problem you've encountered, there are number of reasons for that. It might be due to large DEM size or improper coordinate system. Sometimes the version of HEC-HMS you are using might not support. Please ensure UTM as your reference system. Hopefully it works.

I guess you need to install HECGeoHMS. Hopefully it solves your issue.

Hello. I recommend you to go through the empirical formula recommended in the hydro textbooks. You can also generate the number using GIS.

That is a DEM file. There are many freely available DEM such as ALOS, aw3d. Navigate to the website of USGS earthexplorer. You will find more.

@@Jithakr I guess it is related to gdal configuration. Try installing the earlier version of HEC-HMS. Hope it works.
