Installed these on my 1025r today, very easy install. The performance difference is worth every penny…highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. 👍

Do you get more lift height out of it?
@rodneytsteele2 жыл бұрын
@@Mike-mn9xo same lift height, just more capacity

@@rodneytsteele thanks! Would love to get a few more inches of height out of my 1025. How many more lbs can you lift?
@rodneytsteele2 жыл бұрын
@@Mike-mn9xo I’m not really sure of actual weight. I boosted my pressures up to 2500 psi and installed those beefier cylinders. It will lift a full IBC tote of wet oak firewood. That’s what I needed. You really have to use common sense and keep the weight close to the ground when moving. It’s really amazing with its capabilities after the modifications

@@rodneytsteele yes love my 1025. I have my pressure I believe at 2k psi . My issue is height . Trying to get pallets on racks and this thing needs 4-5 inches and it would be the ultimate tractor. If he somehow makes a piston that could increase height and weight my credit card would be instantly swiped lol

Mark the pins location before removing to make assembly easier.

Yes, metric adjustable wrenches are far superior to their SAE counterparts. 😁. Great tutorial. Thanks!

I bought a set of metric screw drivers, crescent wrenches and pliers. Helps work on those foreign components.

This looks like a fantastic upgrade. Will there be an MSL version in the future? 😁

Hey Kevin...would you know the torque of the nut that is on the inside part of the cylinder?

What’s the performance difference from factory? More lift capacity? Height?
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
More lift capacity. I couldn't squeak in any material amount of height without giving up range of motion downward, so it's the same for the JD models.

can the loader be modified to accept the 2 inch cylinders
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
2" cylinders will work, but they rub as shown in the video. At the moment, I don't offer 2" for the 1 series. The ones you see are prototypes I had made for testing. There are some trade offs, like you need about 75% more flow for the 2" vs just 35% more for the 1.75 to keep the speed the same.

@@HydrosPlus I assume at a certain point 2 inch power would also stress the loader quite a bit more? I am really interested in this setup. Just bought a used 1026r. But it sounds like I would benefit from your pump setup first then later get the cylinders?
@MerpSquirrel2 жыл бұрын
@@HydrosPlus Also wanted to ask what you recommend for third function kits for a grapple. There are a lot of them and just not sure which is the best install/ bang for buck.
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
@@MerpSquirrel there are a number of variables that contribute to loader stress. Pressure is the other major factor other than the cylinders, but the 2" will definitely give you the ability to stress it more if you so choose. I agree that the pump solution would be where I put my money first and then the cylinders later.
@HydrosPlus2 жыл бұрын
@@MerpSquirrel My personal favorite is the JD OEM version. It costs more and it's harder to install if you're doing it yourself, but it's a true third function and it's the best integrated one available with a very ergonomic handle. I'm working on a 3rd function, but it's a little ways off. I don't want to bring one to market to add another option, I'm working on developing one that has some additional functionality. Time will tell if I'm able to pull it off.

Those cylinders are far more BEEFY looking at 1st glance. How about taking the loader off of the tractor so ya can walk around to the inside of it to the & "eyeball" where the inside of the pin will come thru the hole??? I dunno. . . . just a thought!
