Hydrovane Sea Trial - The best deck hand we ever had!

What kind of hydrovane is it and where did you find it? I have an 83 Morgan Ketch

Hello Don. It’s an actual Hydrovane purchased from Hydrovane.com. Check your mizzen boom length. We discovered that we need to cut it back 12 inches , but that’s okay as the sail is short that much.

@@SailingMORGAN Thank you for the info! I will look into it. We just sailed from San Diego to Hawaii. Having a hydrovane would have been helpful. We still have 3000 NM’s to go to reach our goal destination of Japan.
