To get the same praise for what he or she did. Even if there is some control, you, the owner, still need to understand what you do or say to a dog. You can say Stop! One minute then go into praise the next within another minute. It how you can confuse the dog as well.

For anyone saying anything about him petting her. He had her full attention after that. If you noticed, she sat down and looked up at him. All eyes on him. He kicked (i call it hard touch) her and that redirected her attention to him. She walked off turned her back to the others and went to him and sit down. That was beautifully done imo. Now if she was still pointed towards the dog on lvl 10 while he was petting her, then you could say he was rewarding for fighting. But he was rewarding the calm down, and the sit with her attention on him.

Prevention is the best option and there wouldn't have been any kicking or corre lions. Serious training and desensitization, and reducing reactivity and aggression would have been his best option. If he still has these dogs, he can still seek professional help. If he cares anything about them, then hopefully common sense will prevail and he can seek the help he and they need otherwise he has some serious liabilities in these dogs. At all times the dogs are the losers when something bad happens. The kick was nothing compared to what would happen if they got lose. I pray those dogs are in better hands or that he understands he needs to keep them safe by training with a professional. professional. Please be good to your dogs. They are innocent creatures. They love you unconditionally.

There are a lot of people with dogs that they would have to kill to get that dog to stop. I have dogs and I say loud and aggressive...."NO!!!!" ONLY once....and any action ceases. I do NOT walk my dogs with leashes. In the wild, the pack leader does NOT have any "physical" leashes on the rest of the pack but they OBEY. Get the mind, and the body will follow. These aren't pure bred Pitbulls. They're American Bully and Pit mix. While the two breeds originate from mixing Bull dog breeds, the American Bully does not have Terrier bred into their bloodline, which is why pure bred Pitties are smaller than pure bred Bullies. The coat on Hyena is a dead giveaway that she's a Bully. She might have some Pit in her, but they're way to big to not be American Bullies, which are actually more expensive than Pitbulls, and also better around kids.

Idky this man catches so much flak. He obviously takes great care of his dogs and loves his dogs. We all make "mistakes" but we all learn from them as dog owners/breeders. Dogs fight sometimes and he handled it correctly.
