Hyena greeting ceremony

They live in a complex society with strict social conventions based on the dominance relationship between individuals. When two individuals meet, they exhibit a “greeting” ceremony. They express signs of dominance or submission to confirm their hierarchical relationship or strengthen their friendship.
This video shows such a greeting ceremony. The hyena on the left shows particularly clear signs of submission (head down, ears flat, teeth bared, tail in, bum low) because it is an intruder from a neighbouring clan, whereas the other is a resident individual and shows clear signs of dominance and assertiveness.

Difficult to tell. Normally both sexes get errected 'dicks' while greating each other. In that case you could differentiate by the tip of the dick. A male's penis would be more pointed, while a female's pseudo-penis would look rather blunt.
