The low water shut off is a good idea, although just waiting for that burning smell to remind one to turn off his heater has worked for me thus far.

Awesome unboxing&review Mal, this heater fits perfectly into the corner of your tank and doesn't stand out. I love the LCD screen and the handheld controller outside of the tank. The feature if you forget to switch it off when doing waterchanges is brilliant. Great product for a very good price. Can't wait for more Unboxings 😊

I have a similar hygger heater in my 125 and it’s served me well. Mine has an automatic shut off where it turns itself off during water changes. It also has an alarm for low water. I’d recommend hygger

That addition the alarm now that’s a awesome ideas because if you set it right the alarm would go off as the replacement water covers the sensor and your preventing of filling on a water change

@@aquariumdelirium I think it only goes off if the sensor is dry. It’s super high pitched too. Every dog in the neighborhood will be looking for it

Great review Mal, I really like the style of that heater. Hate sticking your hands in the tank turning knobs. The controller on the outside of the tank is the way to go😁👍
