My old class C doesn't have much counter space either. And I also have the dual sink which doesn't really work since it just takes up space. I have a cover for the 2nd sink which I mostly just keep in place to reclaim that as usable counter space. Since I have the typical 4 burner propane stove, to reclaim counter space I did two things. I built two covers for it, one that covers the entire stove, and one that covers just two of them. So when I'm not cooking I keep the full cover in place and that's now counter space. When I do need to cook, I mostly just use one burner so I put the partial in place so two of the burners are now counter space. Since I built them with light weight but sturdy wood, I painted them with Rustoleum counter top paint so they're water resistant and super easy to clean. I need to do a video on this.

As a new Hymer Aktiv owner, I found this video to be extremely helpful! One issue I am still experiencing is where to put my clothes and towels/washcloths. I have downsized the amount of clothes I travel with but still don't seem to have enough room to store what I do bring. Perhaps a video to share how you handle this issue? I like your set up. I am like you and I cook very healthy and I enjoy some of my quality kitchen tools. I have a vita mix, instapot and the induction cooker. When I get out and travel I like to take my tools too. I noticed you have those flower looking bowl/plate separating pads. Do you like them? I have thought about ordering some for myself.

Great video. You can get an induction top adaptor plate so that you can use all your pans not specifically made for induction.

Hi there! One helpful thing that I do on my spices and all other pantry food items is I use a Sharpie black marker and write the use by date on the item so I can easily see it without my glasses on. That way I know if something is okay to be used or if I should toss it! Best to you in your adventures.

A question about the induction cooktop. If you are wearing a ring on your finger and place that hand on the cooktop does it heat up the ring because of the metal? Cheers!!!

I you have the budget, maybe go to a framing store and have a custom frame built out for your microwave hole. Then turn that into a cabinet door? Then you can slip some art in there :) OR still, choosing to make a cabinet door to fit that space, attach a wood spice rack to the outside (or inside) for more small bottle storage :)

Story Chasing I’m in Australia, van I have is a 84 Windsor caravan 6meter caravan first destination is along Nsw coast in Australia 🇦🇺 then head to Queensland to see my mate and my son lives up there it’s going to be slow trip take my time spend a couple weeks in one spot that’s the plan anyway
