Ar Tonelico II villainess is no villain at all. I mean, who wouldn't hate the world when one is so bend saving it, but when the whole world knew of her bad sides, the world rejected the saving? I cried back when I played this. The songs were beautiful, the story where infel failed was so touching. I love this song and the heart speaks the most

I really think Nenesha and Infel are the reincarnations of Rhanplaca and Maoh. During the history of Metafalss , they are somes histories or legend about 2 lovers who change the world, Sometimes in the good way with kindness and love who bring life ( creation of Metafalss :METHOD_METAFALICA/. #Infel who explained the story) , and sometimes in selfishness and stubborn (salavec rhaplanca song ) who bring chaos. I think they want to make us understand than Love is not good or bad, love can bring life or chaos, it's just a matter of point of view. After Nenesha died, Infel enter in rampage mode, with anger, and sadness and force many IPD to suicide with the song and the attack of Sol fag. ( METHOD_MESSELA/ ) and even after all that work to find a solution for create Metafalica . For me they are the true heroes of Metafalss.

I've been listening to this faithfully everyday for a year since I discovered this song, and I don't think I'm gonna stop anytime soon. This is just too beautiful and too well made for a doujin song. I just wish they do a remaster because IMO the vocal quality could be better.

Also, according to Hymmnos Server, "faja" means "to advance, to progress". If this would be informative to fellow Hymmnos learners.

Yes, Nenesha and Infel were lovers. I think this is implied during the opening cinematic of AT2, where it shows Cloche and Luca getting very close to kissing. In fact, that's why this performance of Metafalica failed. Infel, true to her name, loved Nenesha so much that the only reason she wanted to create Metafalica was to live with her on it. When the people of Metafalss saw that she was so selfish, they revoked their feelings, meaning that Infel couldn't give Nenesha enough power to create the Heart of the Land for Metafalica.

Or better said, the IPDs were assholes who refused to help with somethign that would ultimately benefit them as well as the rest of Metafalss just because they didn't like Infel was doing it for Nenesha's sake and for her own research.

But Infel's fault was her selfishness. You can't just call the IPDs assholes for rejecting selfish intent. It was a joint effort, and both groups failed to hold up to their end, blaming the other.

Actually, I can because they didn't want to look past that and do something that would still have benefitted them in the end, not to mention the horrible way they treated her afterwards. What the IPDs did to Infel, and by extension to Nenesha, was no more than a betrayal at the worst possible moment.

The duet form works better here than in the OST, where the voice actresses were woefully mismatched. Luca killed the alto part while Cloche really struggled on the soprano. These two are equally talented.

I hate the reyvateils who betrayed them here. It's like you had a final project and two people were willing to do the bulk of the work because they loved each other, and because you thought that was selfish you sabotaged it, them, yourself and everyone else.

Now imagine you are a reyvateil exicted you are finally going to create a paradise and support your saviors but then suddenly you only see selfishiness on what they are expressing you would feel betrayed that this wasnt for all of you but them

iirc, only the Maiden of Aqua's heart is laid bare, and in my opinion- that's what makes the story even more tragic. I believe Nenesha truly cared for everyone while Infel only cared about making it for Nenesha and herself. When the Reyvateils saw Infels heart, they then assumed it was both of their feelings and thus refused to sing out of feeling betrayed. This in turn killed Nenesha, who didn't know the true reason for their refusal. Nenesha's future conciousness felt betrayed by the people she truly loved- which led to her mental state to shift into that we see in the ending of the game. Infel- the designer of the project and song, knew exactly why it failed- but she was blinded by grief. Who would want to admit that they inadvertently killed their best friend? The reason why Infel did everything she did was because she didn't want to admit that it was the fault of her own. She denied that reality and instead blamed everyone else, and at the end of the game- she finally accepts that as Metafalica is successfully sung.

@@thatoneguywhocommentsonvid7612 In Infel's defense, not only is exposing your feelings and being accepted by hundreds of people a daunting task even for those you are _aware_ of, the connection of IPDs happens at the subconscious level. She might have not even realized the full extent of her own selfishness when she was singing. Or maybe she even thought it didn't matter : what if she only wanted to make Metafalica for Nenesha and herself ? It would still come to fruition. On another note, Nenesha's personality shift as seen in-game is probably not only linked to her incomprehension of the situation ; she became a Heart of the Land, and this transmigration systematically distorts a Reyvateil's spirit (as demonstrated in-game when either Cloche or Luca become the Heart of Deathlandia), since it magnifies flawed human feelings on a continental scale.

This is a song based on a series of game called Ar Tonelico. The two girls are Infel (Blue) and Nenesha (Pink/Red) To simplify it a lot, they live in a world where special women called reyvateil are able to interface with this creation engine via their songs and produce magic and miracles, and all these women can even pour their collective song together to produce bigger miracles. Imagine if god was a machine, and some people had the power to interface with it to pray for things and miracles, it´s not exactly that but its the simplest way to understand. The super TLDR is that the world was dying but Infel designed this song you are listening to, by which her, Infel, would reunite all the power from all of the world´s reyvateil, and send all that power to Nenesha, who would then use that power to beg the godmachine for an eternal paradise in which everyone could be forever happy. The problem being that Infel only really cared about her girlfriend, Nenesha, and making a paradise for her, and did not truly care about the world or anybody else, and when all the other reyvateil connected/interfaced with her they were able to see this and realise they were just being used, which caused them all to stop singing and freak out, which in turn backlashed and killed Nenesha, and left the world helplessly walking towards it´s doom. So it´s a very pretty song but also a very sad song.

+EggiTheShadow because there's rules for pronunciation for numbers and symbols in hymmnos too. The binary "1" is pronounced as "i" and binary "0" as "o" , with "x" being pronounced as "gu" and ">>" as "tras".

The sad part is that they could have had their paradise if Infel was not so selfish and obsessed over her girlfriend as to cause the entire rest of the world to feel betrayed. It is shameful that she could not pause her obsessive love even for a literal hot minute to create a world everyone could be happy in.
