I now know where my ancestors learnt how to sing our fijian chants and songs. From our Tongan family that sailed our shores centuries ago. This is so beautiful

My dad always told me that we are part Fijian. some of our ancestors came from Fiji because there were Tongans who were sent to build boats in Fiji rivers and they stayed there so long that their language had Fijian influence by the time they they returned and they brought with them some Fijians known as Lomaiviti. I am Tongan of Lomaiviti decent.
