I just saw a performance of this tonight in my own city, and it was so unique and wonderful! I knew I was in for a unique treat when all the lights went out, and I saw cellphones turning on one by one as people started to sing, the voices of the choir filling in gradually. It was a night of female composers. It was verty theraputic! I have been struggling to get back to events more; I have been feeling like an NPC in a video game of late. Go to work, go home, rinse and repeat. My ealier scehcule has allowed me to go to some events after work though now :) My math tutor, who was the conductor, told me about the night, and so I changed into some nice closths at work before I got there and headed straight there! A great message in the song too. I love the way the singers all flipped their phone to horizontal oreintation at one point :)
