The Aphrodite statue with snakes reminded me a lot of the Minoan snake Goddess figurines (c. 1600 BCE). One of which depicted a bare-chested goddess with snakes in both hands whose depiction ALSO reminded me of the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar who of course happens to be the first written recorded goddess of love, fertility and war. AHHH so many connections I love it. Ik this video is a little old but it was great thank you.
