Try watching some tutorials on camera tracking and composing 3d scenes with video in blender. That's stuff is not unique to grease pencil and workflow should be the same :)

hi~i'm a huge fun of your works. i tried to add some 2d animation in my video like you but just failed. first time i draged the video in the blender as an empty plant, i can see it in the blender, but it can't be rendered. then i tried to drag it as the backgroud of the camera, but still can't be rendered. the last time, i tried to render the animation of transparent background and want to mix my video in AE, but the animation is just black BG in AE. sorry to brother you that i wondering how do you combine realife video with 2d animation in blender.
