When I hear Diane play this magnificent organ I would love to get on the bench after her and play some beautiful hymns on it for an hour or more. It’s a thrill having command of a great organ like this one.

The reminder of the crucifixion, Christ’s loving sacrifice, in the melody of ‘O Sacred Head Surrounded’, nearly brought me to tears! What an arrangement! I wish my playing could make me cry like hers can.

That was beautiful! I'm reminded of the most angelic version sung by the renowned John Daker... moved to absolute tears!

Loved it so much better when she played for the Bellevue Baptist Church choir. The last "C" in the bass soothed my soul and continues even today when I listen.

This is a spectacular composition! What fabulous drama and musicality. I'm wondering about the year it was written. I'm always impressed that no matter where she goes anywhere in the world, she always just happens to have a terrific recording and production crew with her.

Happy Easter Diane.. this is a first for me too. Hal is playing later in Bethesda by the Sea. Im glad I got to hear you first my dear friend. Thank you. God has sent a message this year. Who would have thought we would be looking at computers for mass instead of smelling the flowers.

If this is an Easter hymn, why is she wearing an over-sized Christmas tree skirt???

Diane is a woman of great beauty and I love the way she plays those big pipe organs. She can dress any way she likes and I love that big skirt on her. Don’t be so petty. She would be welcome to my place any day. Women should be allowed to dress any way they like.

The resurrection of Christ calls for something a bit more peppy and joyful than a funeral dirge 😉

You must then play in a very dry acoustic environment.

@@dleimkuehler it’s not like this church is a cathedral with several seconds of reverb.
