I keep coming back to this video for 4 months now, and sometimes I read the comments. I also came across one comment that says this song was released in late summer. Honestly, I was expecting something like this from HYOLYN the whole time, and I didn't even know what to expect until she actually released this song. It's such a typical summer vibe, yet different. Something like... I can't even describe it. Like when you love someone and you don't even know why, you just love them. SISTAR's hits were great, also the earlier hits by HYOLYN like BAE, See Sea or actually all the summer hits. They were great and still are. But WAIT is just different. She perfectly fine-tuned the video clip, i.e. the image that de facto completes the experience of the song for each of us, and the perfect song created an even more perfect vibe that I haven't let go of my head for a single day in the 4 months since the song was released. At the beginning, the slightly muted background music I noticed is complemented by the quiet waterfalls of the beautiful clear lagoon. The whole song is calm and yet lively, and the same is true of the music video, which is shot on the beach, in nature or by an evening bonfire. Layin' Low has been out for almost three years now and I still haven't gotten tired of the song, it plays to me from every angle. I've listened to a lot of songs in my whole life, but not a single artist could do to me what HYOLYN did. No song I know has that much energy except for Layin' Low and WAIT, and it's for this perfect work that I have so much respect and admiration for this woman. For someone it's just a song, but for me it's protection. Since I honestly don't like winter and I feel weak, I don't even know how this song keeps me back to normal and protects me from depression. I'm not kidding now. Just two days ago, I wanted to quit my job, and in the evening, after listening to the song, I suddenly felt good.
