@@Waguri_Kaoruko-3 Dude the beauty standards of Hyouka are high. + it doesn't have an extreme world building like a Fantasy, Frieren is above because of action adventure,+slice of life vibe and yes a completely different tone. The first episode it caught me off guard when she cried over Himmel's death. But Hyouka doesn't have action and adventure. It's a simple masterclass anime with classic music inserted at the best time and puns that most people fail to get.

Its been over 12 years, sadly, the creator of the light novel and manga passed away in 2019, he was also one of the lead people in creating the anime for his manga, and I think there has been things said saying we are never getting season 2+
