Wow. Love the beard changes color just like the real thing. A friend of mine has two an standard and a fancy. King and Leo are so cute. This one looks similar to Leo. Love how real it looks. The eyes fit him well. Great job as usual!

im a bearded dragon owner and its very realistic. My only critique is that the nails were very dark compared to how their normally a lighter grey and i would have stuffed the body portion a bit less to mimic the flatness and the stretch of their skin

Haha, I really thought you made a mistake and was trying to see what it was 😅 he is very beautiful, but I have to ask, why do you coat the clay pieces with resin and not matte varnish? I personally think it would look better with matte clay pieces.

haha! nope I just stressed myself out to no end at the thought of making more of these. But I think it's a most XD I mainly use resin and not varnishes cause for some reason varnishes and acrylic paints don't respond well to the humidity where I live. They always get sticky after drying and resin hardens like plastic so its stronger then varnish and so far it's the only thing I have to deal with the humidity lol! If I can find a way to have my clay pieces matte I would but I want it to last and not peel off or get sticky lol

@@bubblyleafcreations ah I see and now when I think of it I also have had issues with varnish and polymer clay, but I just thought it was me who hadn't baked the clay enough. I still think your creatures are amazing so keep doing what you're doing ❤️ the galaxy raptor is my favorite right now so I would like to see something more in that style.

How heavy is it after creating the piece? I want to take my Sebbies with my to lost lands so I’m going to create a totem of him. I just dont know where to start. Either paper mache or clay lol

AMAZING!! When you make the feet, did you put hot glue on the wires to hold them together? And if you did, does it effect the baking of the clay seeing as its hot glue and would melt?

Karah Jacobson I would recommend bake and bond to bake clay together

Thank you. Yes I use 16g wire for the frame, put it together with 20g wire and then cover that with hot glue before building the clay on it. The glue does melt but it doesn't really affect the clay, some times it might drip out a little, if not fully covered up. But you can just pull it off while it's still warm.
