I can imagine Eren singing this to Armin, as Armin has saved and defended Eren many times before. Armin has almost been killed about four times. And, if Eren did die, Armin would probably go in the forest and sing this. Armin has been by Eren's side all his life, so imagine how he must feel if he lost Armin. Apparently, Armin and Mikasa were the only ones that kept Eren alive and going after his mother passed away. Without Armin, Eren would be "nothing, and will forever be broken-hearted" as stated. Half of Eren's heart belongs to Armin. If Armin died, Eren would have a huge part in him that became depressed. Armin is one of the closest people that Eren cares about, and he is very protective of Armin. It was once stated that Eren is apparently gay, and that he loved Armin more than a friend for a short period of time. Even after finding out Armin was a boy, and not a girl (since Eren thought Armin was a girl at first), Eren still loved him. These two were made for each other. They are always there for one another and to have each other's backs. They've almost died saving each other with honour multiple times before, but it's lucky they are both still alive so we can see their bond grow stronger and stronger for more episodes to come. :)
