It's unclear if in the original canon, the goddesses were ever in their base forms while in Celestia. Therefore, Neptune would be Purple Heart all of the time, and Purple Heart behaves very differently from Neptune's base form.

The other CPUs recognize Nep on her base form, so it's probably an indication that they know her enough to recognize what she looks like in base form. Unless Neptune did go back to base form when she defeated before being thrown out by the CPUs, which would mean they caught a glimpse of her base form and remembered it.

Maybe Neptune secretly wanted to be normal but because of the responsibilities of being a CPU of Planetune she always struggled with ruling her nation (because of how Blanc noted that Neptune always hates responsibilities). Since not even Planetune’s Basilicom guards, nor the citizens of her own nation, don’t know that Nep is Purple Heart maybe she sneaks off around Planetune in her human form to have fun and enjoy life as a “normal girl” before having to return to being a CPU of a ruling nation.

It's really weird that they're almost always stoned face in the cutscenes. Makes me wonder if they intentionally made it like that or somehow they couldn't get it to work right throughout the game

David Segovia yeah,that was the only thing that bothered me when I was playing this game.it was almost always the same stupid face most of the time 😡 but I've finally finished it and I can't wait to play hyperdimension neptunia mk2 😃

I finished this game and it always irritated me but why don't they change expressions? I know they do change their expressions every once in a while but the whole time it's the same boring face.

Okay.but that was the only thing that bothered me when I was playing hyperdimension neptunia I still love the hyperdimension neptunia games and the remakes 😃 can't wait to buy hyperdimension neptunia mk2.
