@ImmatureHero yes...and a ESC is a speed controler. make sure the motor and esc are compatible also. probably best to get a motor/esc combo they sell if anything.

The tamiya cars range from roughly £100 - 250 for a kit you have to build. You may come across special editions that are more. Tt01d is the pre setup tamiya drift chassis. They can be hard to get hold of now but come with all the hop ups already included. They come with drifting tyres too. Most prices you will see will be for car only. You will need controller, battery for car and controller plus a charger for car battery. I had a charger that would charge either fast or slow...slow was 2 hours
