I finally return back to the Hyperia construction site to show you all the latest updates from the UK's tallest roller coaster! From the installation of the chain on the rides lift hill, to a look inside the rides gift shop and I even chat to a very special guest - Dominic Gardner himself!

You can always tell how excited someone is when they can’t stop looking at it. Always good to see such excitement. I’m so desperate to see the trains now. Was this one filmed before Thorpe opened for the season? Just wondered because of the outside of the building site area

I would suggest that you still record/archive footage of the fit out process of the Station while you can. It's something you could do as a video update after it opens. I'll be interested to see how Accessibility works on this station, it seems very perched up high, I'm surprised it couldn't have been done lower designing out steps as much as possible and using ground works to ramp into the platform. Platform lifts just fail, they take time, they discriminate.

This was recorded a few days after the last track piece was installed. Since this was recorded, the Black Mirror Labyrinth sign was fully removed, the new pavement around the Burger King was finished, the lift chain had been installed, groundwork for the queue line started, and a “Welcome Fearless” sign was installed before trains enter the station after the brake run.
