Those are some bright lights...I like them. Another great episode

I think you need to add a ground pigtail to your metal box above the garage door and attach it to the ground wire and to the box with a ground screw. Given the location, there isn't much danger but I believe it is required by code. Had it been a plastic box, no ground required. Nice bright lights!

Heyyyy!!! Nice lights!! I think I warned ya that the tool cart would end up being filled with its own permanent tools!!! Hahaha. If you remember I kept expanding until the cart was a 6 foot cart on wheels!!! I didn’t tell ya I was looking at putting electric motors for two wheels so I could actually get it moved around!! Haha. Now I bought something very similar to yours ($450 CAD, OUCH!! It was a cheaper model too!!). It’s made me a little more diligent with putting the tools away. My wife asks me why I have 4 sets of some wrenches,,,,, I just shrug my shoulders and keep on doing whatever it is I am doing!! Haha. I heard you saying you were doing some drywall. Ugghhhh, I’m no fan of that!! I’m pretty good at it, but am not a fan. We renovated our Ensuite bathroom and laundry room. The ensuite got bigger and the laundry smaller. We had a bathroom renovation specialist finish the bathroom and I am to finish the laundry room. It’s still sitting in drywall without even the tape coat of mud in it!! Heh heh. I will likely finish it next week now,,,, I’m blaming YOU for this one!! (Ok not really, but maybe a little,,,, heh heh.) You are definitely a handy guy and the install on the lights looks really nice!! Those PVC boards sure are handy huh!? I quite like what you did on the end of the shop as well with the gravel pad. A bit more gravel and use it,,, it will pack in nicely and if you need to level it a bit after final settling or add some more gravel,,, no problem!! It’s your toys!!! I’m more than just a bit jealous,, haha. You might be able to find some LED clearance lights for the bus. There are some really nice ones that size. See ya next week!!

I'm not sure if you provisioned for it but having a wireless access point in your garage would be invaluable in the future for lots of reasons--computer access to the internet for instructional videos and future cars will almost all need wireless internet connectivity for over the air updates. You can accomplish it multiple ways but the cheapest may just be running a CAT 6 cable from your home router through a light conduit to the garage. Since you have trenching capability, it is a great DIY project to get the wireless access point there.

Yeah, our internet is really bad here, I actually load videos at my dads house when I mow, just because his is soooo much faster…I have ordered StarLink but who knows when I’ll receive it.

when you fix machines for a living any excuse to buy tools is a good excuse (just keep that between us guys) Buy more tool boxes so you can buy more tools! That's my motto

Just tell them to send you 4 more and you won't have to choose one of the 3 locations. Problem solved.

Great job. you are right, they are very bright. I am usually pretty good with wiring , but those 3 way switches baffle me. I probably should you tube them I guess. Looks like the " Field of dreams ". " If you build it they will come".

Just saw some vids of the flooding and was wondering if your OK?
@shotslife2 жыл бұрын
We are good so far, looks like eastern Ky is getting hammered! So far our river has started flowing and turned brown but so far no flood! Poor eastern ky people though… looks bad on the news! Prayers for them.

Anytime there is nature catastrophe it always picks on the poor more than anyone else. Glad your ok!

So true, devastating for sure, feel bad for the people……ours is starting to come up today, they must have opened the dam, it’s flowing pretty good, looks like river again. We are way above the top of the dam height so we are always safe.

Looking good and I agree the neighbors will not be happy. Now the things I seen was why not use butyl caulk to weather seal the bracket mounts, The attic could use a set of lights as well as a catwalk down the center. And as always Good job Shot's
