I've finally finished it! The sheer amount of support and hype around my first animation was more than I could've ever expected. The creation of this animation was a long journey, and I'm glad you all stuck around for it. But this is only the beginning! FAQ:
Q: Why does Ralsei have a hat?
A: Purely artistic choice, Mik made a joke about Ralsei getting his hat shot off by Spamton, so we decided to add it into this animation. The idea in this animation is that Ralsei put his hat back on when he entered the basement.
Q: Who is the yellow character with a mask?
A: This character is called "Golden Kris", and they are the character representation of the yellow heart used in the Spamton NEO fight. Since we weren't sure how to represent the yellow heart dodging Spamton's attacks, we decided to characterize the heart with a unique design. The character was designed by Mik, and functions as a stand for Kris during the fight.
Q: Why does Kris show their eyes?
A: This is also artistic choice, the character design we based the model off of showed one eye, having their hair partially parted over. I felt that more emotion could be portrayed with the use of an eye, as we know that the Spamton NEO fight was one of the only events which scared Kris to the point of yelling without the player's input.
This animation uses some interpretive alterations, apologies if you do not like them.
Moving forward, my animations will be more accurate to the actual game.

My favorite thing about this is the cut from the "we had a deal" shot to the angle below spamton's head. It makes it look like he's asking for a peaceful resolution, but realises that he lost that chance the moment he blasted the player away.

I think this animation does a very good job of expressing how completely and utterly terrifying this experience would be. Like imagine going 80 miles an hour on a roller coaster while being shot at by a mechanical lumbering angel of death, and then add in Kris's baggage with the whole puppet and control thing. Kris was afraid of Spamton before he got his NEO form. I can't imagine how they would feel during this experience. The flashing lights and colors, along with the expressions on Kris's face do such a good job of communicating the terror of this situation.

If you sit down and think about it, Spamton NEO really is just mechanical nightmare fuel. Heck, when Toby was showing off Spamton to an insider, he said that Spamton felt too creepy and disturbing. And to think that the game can suppress just how horrifiying it is to be face-to-face with Spamton's NEO form, let alone his base form. Surreal.

I absolutely love how "mechanical" the sound design is with the clanking noises and the railway sounds mixed in with the game sound effects ! I think what they mean isn't that they'll be visually more accurate to the game, but more so story-wise. Here we see spamton defeated by cutting the ropes, but in-game cutting the ropes is the pacifist path where he ends up getting happy that you're trying to help free him. And also, the ending after the song, in-game after you beat him on either path, he doesn't stay in the neo suit. He turns into his normal form tied up in vines, then talks to you before turning into an item to help you, just like jevil does. He doesn't stick around and the neo suit is lost somewhere on the ground. Those are the two direct inaccuracies with this vs the game

Spamton is probably one of my favorite characters in recent media. His whole motif of devil deals, puppets and fading popularity all work so well. That in his pursuit of freedom, he gains the power he needed but it literally put him on strings like the puppet he's trying not to be, and that in his fight we have to cut his strings to beat him, and symbolically give him his freedom. This animation does a great job showcasing all of that, and its beautiful

One of my absolute favorite parts of this video is around the ending where spamton's phone is ringing where so much emotion is happening: Spamton just got stunned, the phone is ringing off the hook, the music is blasting perfectly with the lyrics, and spamton finally gets his strings cut while everything goes silent-- Easily the best animation I have ever seen and it pairs perfectly with the song.

It's actually is unusually stylised 3d with 2d elements and that's amazing representation of why 3d is going to replace 2d art in future. I mean its just becomes easier each year to make a 3d model that at any angle will look like hand drawn. However some art styles ain't going to be fully replaced, due to their messy style with lots of lines and etc.

I can’t begin to explain how many memories this resonated. I played deltarune ch. 2 within a week of its release, and even now it’s one of my favorite games. The comedic AND serious bits felt genuine (which usually doesn’t happen), the game’s cast was so unique, and Spamton’s boss fight felt…different than most I’ve played. I’m not sure how to explain it better. Anyway, this animation perfectly captures the chaotic cry for help that is his fight, and I thank you for that.

I really cannot understand why is the game praised so much. It has many flaws, and it is boring like few. The level design is horrible, the graphics are barely tolerable, the combat ranges from a joke to not challenging, the puzzles are simple, the setting is not coherent, the humor is unfunny nonsense most of the time, the story is predictable, the good characters are nullified by the incredibly annoying joke characters... The only good thing is the ARG type of subplots. It has never happened to me to be this much on the opposite side of everybody else, and i've yet to understand why

i have no words, i knew that the finished animation would leave me speechless, but i never expected something like this, i really dont know where to begin, but i have to say, this is probably one of the best recreations of the spamton neo fight. i love how you represented the soul, dodging the attacks and firing back at spamton, the sounds are perfect for this fight, from the clunking noises as spamton moves, to the giant spamton neo falling, and the last wire being cut. It is perfect, and the designs of everyone are incredible, kris's eyes actually being visible is something that almost no one does, but as you said, it serves to show the fear kris is going through during this, As said before, spamton neos design is perfect, the body looks just as menacing and whitered as it should, the wires poking out at certain parts only make it look more whitered, which is perfect, the wings make spamton look incredible, and, as said before, make him look as menacing as he should be, his movements look erratic and forced, like a puppet, just like in the game. The animation in general is very fast paced, perfect for a battle like spamtons Furthermore, something i personally liked a lot is something a lot of people dont do. most people represent the giant spamton neo as just a scaled up spamton, you however, actually made him look different, from a different color to a different, more robust armor design, which fits perfectly for a giant machine And the last scene with spamton yelling at kris "we had a deal", and the phone ringing, spamton being shocked and picking it up, right before the last wire was cut, it was perfect. Also, at the end spamton moving to look at the camera, to tell us that hes not dead was the cherry on top, I also liked how for a second, red wires appear on kris, to show that the player is controlling him, just like spamton is being controlled aswell The constant color change was amazing, i have never seen something like it and just like the artstyle, i really like it because of that. Its original and very cool As said before, i look forward to what you and your team will be doing in the future and i wish you all nothing but success (Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my main language)

Spamton is such a disturbing character and this really shows why. I love him as a character so much, because of the humor and fear he creates. He's a goofy, yet psychopathic salesman and personified spam. and this of course stemming from his sad backstory, and creepy lore implications along with it.

Every stylistic choice made in this animation is absolutely exquisite: -My Ordinary Life fits insanely well with the tragedy of Spamton's character. -The colors perfectly encompass the insanity of the NEO fight, while also emphasizing the mood of the lines they're paired with. -Kris' expressiveness to show the intensity of their feelings throughout the fight. -Spamton's final moment of disbelief when the phone rings. It should be a crime to make something this good. Edit: Kris' pronouns are now accurate, because I originally called them a "he" like a real ignoramus.

1:09 i love this part as it shows how disappointed and annoyed spamton is, he failed to get the soul from kris and is now going to lose the battle, Its a cool and neat detail. Overall this animation is amazing and the art style is out of this world. Side Note: Keep in mind this whole fight happened on a rollercoaster ride, which is represented so well here

1:11 I dunno how and why but this brief shot of spamton turning his head is so badass. Especially with the song going for that high note and clips of mini spamton being depressed Its like in the game, he thought he was going free from the suffering and practically asking you to cut the final string to "free" him and this is him screaming with Joy unknowing his future fate and the hesitation of lifting the phone is like him realising something is wrong but its too late
