I'm always utterly baffled by the lack of emotion behind the same regurgitated responses to the music. Surely there's more passion there than just,"Ooo lovely sound", and the likes. Need to love your scene more than that, I dare say. Fuck PLUR, it's incompatible with Underground music, and Trance has never been completely mainstream. There have always been other facets to it, in times of mainstream charting success, so why trap yourselves in the norms that bind you to behaving like sheep? Isn't Trance about having freedom to express yourself, as a,"Fuck you" to the very social constructs you so vehemently try to escape from? Isn't it about freedom to move in ways so attuned to the music that no other scene within Dance can? Can you tap into your emotions and your own soul, without it? There are other ways, you know, Trance is just the engine that gets you there; but we all know there is more to it than just that, but it transcends all the reasons and thoughts you may have on the topic. I'm not religious, but if anything in this world has been blessed to us by a higher power, then it would be Trance that was gifted us.
