You could’ve saved money in their early bird special. I got 2 coming. Anything worth anything is probably going to cost you. Some people are trying to charge 6K for a single light.

I agree been following this for some time it's cool but price is a bit steep.

It's expensive, but it's a high quality work of art. We use quality materials, like a solid PVC frame, real scratch-resistant acrylic mirrors (not the stick-on film), LEDs rated to last 50,000 hours. Plus tons of detailed patterns, sound reactivity, and an app. You get what you pay for!

Perhaps in the future, could you make an even smaller one, perhaps with less features then the bigger ones, and make it a lot cheaper? Also what microphone do you use for the sound reactive mode? I’ve been trying to find a good one to work with WLED for a bit now, and since you use a modified WLED it should work fine with the normal one.

@@thetechy9442 We use an analog MEMS ICS-40212 mic. Any analog MEMs mic should do the trick though! Keep in mind one of these mics will require a whole amplifier circuit to play nicely with an Arduino

Could Hyperspace Lighting make one of these for $99.99? Sure they could. Except it would be a SoSoCube that's nowhere near as mesmerizing, visually stunning and feature packed as the Hypercube. This is a highly unique lighting product unlike anything else on the market.
