If you want the most honest answer you can possibly get just ask the troops on the ground. They'll tell you exactly what they think and/or feel. Personally I feel this plane should never be retired, just upgraded to be kept relevant. The troops on the ground will thank you from the bottom of their collective hearts.

It can go to space and stay there for days. And it has a membrane surrounding the whole aircraft that can resist heat and subzero temperatures

Many reports an public essays say Lockheed’s stealthy, mysterious sleek-looking SR-72 is both real and acknowledged by the Air Force.
@jjames4352Ай бұрын
The U.S. Air Force retired the SR-71 Blackbird on January 26, 1990...The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) continued to fly two SR-71As and one SR-71B until 1999 for high-speed research projects... So yeah the sr-72 has been out or there was another replacement already out before they retired the 71's

A flexible skin with the foldable cellphone technology so it blends in with what is around the jet will make it nearly invisible. A skin w/o seams is possible with current molecular technologies that are being explored now. An engine with almost no moving parts is feasible is the precepts of sound are considered for air can be vibrated quickly to produce sound, if fuel is introduced then ignited... Compression is possible by intuitive design, but such an engine would require to be started at speed. Don't mind me, I'm a nobody who can connect dots that the original designers never intended to happen.

Northrup Grumman building aircraft in California assures that taxpayers will pay 2-3 times as much as we should. There is a good financial reason that Tesla and SpaceX (and even X) are moving from California to Texas. I guess when you're spending Other People's Money, it doesn't matter how much it costs.

Forgive me please, I am not looking to offend anyone, but if I may? I am curious if the question IS a question? Or is it a funny?. Innocents is of a pure soul. Stay that way- the world would be a better place if we had more out there that thought like you.
