As an NP student, I am so grateful that my instructors led me to your lectures. They are concise, yet thorough, and extremely helpful at "putting the pieces together"! Thank you for supplying the connection that brings it all together!

I think part of the reason I like Dr. Seheult ‘s lectures is he has a very calm voice...lucky him. This video is excellent, however if I may make a very small suggestion...I’d recommend a body/organ diagram once or twice during his explanation of which organs and vasculature are effected with what meds. The reason being this might help increase retention having those pictures in your mind. Thank you for these great videos !

I love your lectures and trying to watch through as many as I can. Have you done any on antibiotics and when to use what and best choices. I run into a lot of questions on 1st choice meds and 2nd choice. If ever there is a video on most common diseases and best choices for meds that would be helpful and a video on the break down of all the antibiotics and when to use. I am sure those could both go on forever, so maybe just the top ten diseases seen or most common. Thanks for taking all the time to make your videos they are great!!

Wow! EVERYTHING you are talking about is very pertinent to me. Now I have more understanding instead of "here's the Rx, just take the pills as written" situation without knowing how they work in the body. Clonidine is one of the medications I'm on for hypertension. I also have mitral valve regurgitation. I can't take Beta Blockers and certain other medications because they change my personality. Thank you so much. God bless you.

I’m a 36 year old African American male with hypertension type 1. Been working overnights for almost 3 years in the ED and I think my lack of sleep is the cause. My doctor wanted me to take lisinopril but I’ve heard of the hacking dry cough and I denied the drug. I’m committed to increasing my cardio and sleep but what would be a better medical option for someone like me?

Is there any relationship between psychiatric diseases like bipolar and schizophrenia and hypertension? I feel like there is a great deal of money for medical entrepreneurs to make in this field to get some basic laboratory style litmus test? I have a hypothesis that hypertension may be caused by some of the genetics involved in those particular diseases.

you said an alternative for patients who couldn't take betablockers was Nitrates + hydralazine, but then you said to give betablockers to patients on hydralazine to reduce HR, which sounds contradictory...or did i hear you wrong?
