We're privileged to be joined by physique competitor, trainer, actor, and industry veteran Michael Wittig for this one. Michael Wittig is a 46 year old fit father of 4 who believes that you can be in your best shape at any age. He is an ISSA Certified trainer and nutritionist. He writes and models for multiple international fitness magazines (30+ features since 2019). Michael is a 6x cover model. He is a Natural Pro 8x Champion, Master World Champion, and Natural Olympia Master Champion. In addition to all his fitness pursuits he is also a Grammy nominated musician and very busy actor.
In Part 1 of this podcast we will be defining hypertrophy, labeling the three mechanisms that activate muscle building, common mistakes, and frequent misconceptions on the topic.
